Guess what everyone... Axe is still around! I've just been busy...

Here's my two cents...DON'T FEED THE FISH! And if you work in a restaurant like I do, SHOWER before you dive. I got gang-jumped by a bunch of those little !@#$ers one weekend and wound up with bloody ears....not cool!

So something to mention... the park sells you vienna sausage's to feed them... and if you happen to be an early diver, you will get swarmed. A few people in my group got nibbled, but I kept moving with some ninja like skills so I was ok! :D

My group - :sharkattack:

Me -

Wow! Sounds like those N. Texas fish are darn aggressive!! I've never heard of anyone at WP getting bitten hard enough to bleed...maybe a love nibble every now and then. :10: I guess our fish are a little more laid back...being from Austin and all! :crafty:

You can download real nice maps of Windy Point and the Mansfield Dam area, with compass bearings & landmarks at:
http://www.duggandiving.com/maps.htm

There's another pretty good map of Windy Point, with compass bearings and landmarks at:

If you find something with depths just adjust them for current lake levels (Today Lake Travis is about 5.5' over what's considered full.) You can get current lake conditions at:
http://wwwext.arlut.utexas.edu/omg/weather.html

Have fun! If we're out at WP this weekend we'll be flying a big ol' Texas flag. Come on over and say "Hello!"
