Will this Qualify me as a TSD ?

I will be attending Trashfest '08, but on another team,as I really don't know anyone here (on this site).I"ll be with SeaSportsScuba Woodlands Team.Anyway, my question is "Do I have to personally be with a member of TSD or does this group activity count as diving with a member?"Looks as if ya'll are a fun group to be hang with, my wife and I are always looking for resons to dive and meeting some of the group @ 288 Lakes, TwinLakes,Blue Lagoon, or maybe Mammoth(yuk) seems to be good as any.Also asking permission to hang here until I become an official member.

Becoming an official Texas Swamp diver is easy:

1. Dive with someone who is already a member.
2. Afterwards have a big BBQ in Austin where you provide the BBQ and beer. Austin has to be the location because it's centrally located, of course.
3. Take an inordinate amount of ribbing from the currest TSD members.

See? Nothing to it. In fact, only #1 in mandatory. Number 2 is optional, but tends to put you way up high up on everyone's dive buddy list. Number 3 is up to you completely.

Why the "yuk" for Mammoth Lake? I've heard nothing but rave reviews since it opened. I'm heading down there to dive it for the first time next week.

Nice facility, but times I've been there this year vis was under 5'would rather dive 288 Lakes or even Twin Lakes with the swimmers:no or even Blue Lagoon with weekend classes:no

I am very much looking forward to diving Mammoth Lake this coming Friday. 1Texasdiver, you are welcome to come out and dive with us then if you can make it. I am meeting jnowens out there. Then you can mark off #1 off the list. When you get ready to tackle #2 I will for sure make the trip down to Austin.
