Ok. This poll will attempt to determine who is using FFMs on this forum - vote accordingly. My vote is rather unusual so I'll cast it separately: Novice diver Obsessed with cool equipment.

Recreational these days.
Commercial in years past.

Used to be commercial and military but now for academic / recreational...

Right now I only use a FFM for working dives that are surface supplied.

In the future I may add FFM with wireless com link for sport diving.

how about a choice for Public safety divers? Fire/Police divers?

I use one for dive/rescue, but on occasion dive one for recreational dives. But for Tech diving I tend to stay with my cyklons, and leave the FFM for playing in the quarrys and shore dives.
Its too much of a pain in the a$$ to switch gases with a FFM. Much easier to just switch regs in your mouth.
Although I do use less gas when I am breathing through my nose...:doctor: but the trade off for ease and simplicity is worth a little less gas.
