Hey Scubaboard admins and other members!

First off, love the site. It is well organized, visually appealing, and very useful - I am learning alot from the posts.

One idea I had (though others have probably thought of it, and maybe already suggested it - apologies if so) was to set up a Wiki under each regional dive clubs section.

So for example, if there was a Canada->Western Canada->Vancouver Island section, we islanders could build up an online directory of local dive sites. Divers could post descriptions of the sites, driving directions/maps, vis reports, pictures, hints about local regulations/courtesies, and such.

There are plenty of sites out there, if you know how to find them, but nothing (except Google) to tie them all together. Maybe scubaboard could be it?

Cheers!
Bryan

a couple of regional forums have started something like that. In the Ohana and Conch forums it's call "inside information". You could start a thread and others can start adding :D...ask a Mod to make it into a sticky.

PS: the board in gerneral has something like that too, look here under dive sites
