My first computer was the Sea + Sea Profile 1000. It is no longer supported, so I have learned how to replace the battery myself. I have a newer Oceanic, but still like the Profile 1000

I have the ScubaPro version of this I inherited from a retired diver. I've been wondering what to do with it. I was considering diving with it, but I was afraid to flood it if it is not sealed. I also have one of the Orca air integrated dive comuputers. I agree it has an amazing display, but damn it's big. I think some geek was trying to see if the profiles from the device could be downloaded to computer via irda. Yes, it eats batteries.
