When one could just read, practice, and spend the money on a cavern/intro cave course? Plusses and minuses?? Why not enjoy the cavern, and not worry about another C card.
 
True, Learning how to dive on the internet has it's pluses.
 
I don't mind the wet part but I like knowing I can just turn off the computer when someone decides today was the day to quit taking their meds.......
 
It bugs me that they say my seacure mouthpiece is not DIR compliant!!
 
I'm not a student of GUE, but it makes sense to my why your seacure isn't DIR. However, if you don't like it... then don't take the DIR-F course. It's not a requirement unless you plan on taking further courses with GUE.

I also think it's an uneducated statement to compare DIR-F to "just another C-Card"

I hope that some GUE trained divers give you honest answers, and that the trolling stays to a minimum though :)
