I got in two dives today and the second one was at a new place that I've been wanting to check out. It's an old pier that just the pilings are left from. Depth was about 10' at most. I saw lots of life but captured only some good shots. I now know where to find Blennies in hiding holes. I took some shots but the small waves were rocking me in and out of focus so I'll have to try again sometime. Toward the end of the dive a big "Mackerel" cruised up for a few shots. Here's the "Mackerel" and a couple other shots as well.

that other mackerel with the two claws looks pretty good too

...I know the Crystal Beach pier is gone, but the pilings are still there,
so was wondering if it was that one?...
Yep it was that one.

paulwall:
...Uh, Bill? You do know that's a barracuda, right?...
I wondered why he had no bumps on his tail and was swimming so slow :D. I always thought barracuda were silver, what's with the spots?

The Great Barracuda has spots. Nice pictures. Thanks much for sharing.
