I stopped by an LDS in a neighboring city and I call the bluff. All of you store owners are really secretly squirreling away all your cash and pretending you don't make any money, cause if we all knew how much you really make you'd suddenly have tons of competition!

Why do I say this? Well, on the two different days I visited, I saw two of the owner's cars.

(Okay, so he also runs several other business, including what appears to be a property management company, but still, it came across is pretty funny to me! Needless to say, I was pretty darned shocked to pull into a dive shop parking lot and see a Ferrari in the employee parking!)

Business must be booming ... I notice nobody's parked next to either of them ...

Of course having very rich dead old maid aunts didn't hurt either.......

The fastest way to make a small fortune in the dive industry is to start with a large fortune... Looks like this LDS owner is early in the process of going from large fortune to small fortune.

It was parked kind of off to the side, along with some of the other employee's cars, and a handicap spot. The rest of the cars were around front.

This particular store gets most of their business from the swim side, but has a really nice dive shop.

Diver Dennis, I think you missed the sarcasm. ;) It doesn't come across well on the 'net.

You can lease anything nowadays:14:, just because he's driving it, doesn't mean he owns it.
