Nice! I'm glad it's getting more popular. By the way, does PADI have a kayak diving course? I've heard of some shops running one that they say is PADI, but I haven't seen a specialty for it listed on the PADI site.
I suppose they're using Mark Theobald's book, too.

I think PADI does have a class for kayak diving, but it's a joke.
I learned just by doing and also because kayak diving up here is almost as popular as shore diving so you can't help but get exposed to it if you hang out on the coast.
 
Yeah, I'm self taught, too, and learned from just doing it and honing the rules and procedure down. And I looked at what I could find online and found a person who was experienced and learned from him.
