It would be great to dive the caverns at Orange Grove and Peacock either Saturday or Sunday would work just great. However, as beggars cannot be choosers and all that
I will be glad to get any cavern diving in I can so just let me know where and when I will make sure I bring lots of sugar cookies.
How was your diving this weekend - we were pummeled by waves and strong current in Pompano (we were the only dive boat our there Saturday afternoon) not to mention it was also a tad bit chilly

Well, I may have to travel to Tampa this weekend, in which case maybe I can show up for a Venice dive, but barring that Peacock sounds fine. I'm still waiting on my reels, but also ordered a HID, so I may have that soon. Maybe I'll borrow my friends halogen till then. Anyway, I'll let you know.

Starry, I went with the cheapest option i could find, which was a Dive Rite Wreck1 Can, and Mr11 head. I know a dealer who is giving me a good price.
Fred, peacock is ok. Ive been in it a few times. It was actually better before the flooding when the walls were still white. Now there is a lot of black silt making it a bit darker. Of course with a tec40 everything is dark...I'm working on editing a video from earlier in the year with some peacock footage.

Peacock is great - and OG which is right beside it (kinda) is beautiful - Wow - it will be great to dive with you guys again!!

Fred, thanks for the gear offer, but Id rather use as much of my own stuff as possible, as thats what I'll be using in class. I dont plan on buying a BC any time soon anyway. I'm still not 100% on saturday yet, but probably 99%, but I figure saturday at 10 should be fine.
