Lots of great suggestions...some better than others (Life aquatic...) I guess I now have some movies to watch during my surface intervals... Ill let you know if I find any others that are of interest...

If you want to watch some a documentary on the worlds oceans try Blue Planet, 3 DVD's with some awesome footage of the Under Water World. Not diving I guess but still a great watch.

hey, you all forgot about a classic, THE movie that helped me getting into diving, the one and only: Jaws Only bad thing is that air cylinder blowing like tnt at the end but hey, I didn't know about that in the late 70's

Rick Inman:
There are some very long and complete threads on this subject, but I never miss a chance to plug the movie that got me interested in diving back when I was but a lad: The Creature From the Black Lagoon.

Now that was diving. Double hose regs, no BCs, no computers, no SPGs, only strong manly-men and beautiful females pitted against the most horrible of creatures, all set in 200 foot visibility.

Nice...

Agreed. That poor creature was totally misunderstood.
