Andy,

I haven't been to Whitefish in a couple years. Curley's has the air fill station. http://www.exploringthenorth.com/curleys/motel.html

The hotel I've been staying at for a few years is the Traveler's. They should be able to either answer your questions or refer you to someone that can. They tend to cater to divers, have easy access to the rooms, have installed large hooks outside each room to hang gear and often have a BBQ for all the guests on Saturday night. http://www.exploringthenorth.com/travelers/motel.html

BTW - Who are you chartering with?

Hi all, I'm headed to Whitefish point in about 10 days and can't seem to find out if anyone up in that area does nitrox or at the least O2 clean air fills. Any ideas on where I can get them?

Thanks,

Andy

If you need anything but air, I would advise you to take it along with you. Most of the dives in Whitefish Bay are beyond recreational limits. I usually find myself with several bottles of O2, helium and argon in my van when I am bound for Whitefish. Sure wish Zee were still up there.

Me too...always hauled all the gas I needed for the trip with me.

Me three. I took my gas up with me as they don't have the modified grade E fills. So if you have O2 service rated tanks, you have to give it serious thought.

I don't have a truck or van, so big bottles of Helium or O2 are out of the question anyways.

Well I have been wanting a second set of doubles. :-) This is kind of what I was expecting but I thought I'd see if I was misled, which I wasn't.

I better start scrounging a second set of doubles or some 02 clean singles for day 2.

Thanks,

Andy
