But you are still here! :D Have fun in Mackinaw this weekend. Dive safe and post trip details after. :)

Hey, maybe we should cancel the Mack trip; after all, we're just quarry divers and dive by our "own set of rules." (whatever that means) I never thought of Gilboa Quarry as being on the par with any of the Great Lakes I've been in. Is that wrong?

I enjoy The Great Lakes and I enjoy Gilboa.
Heck I enjoy any dives or I do not do them.
I try to train in all environments and conditions.
I live 1hr.:15min. from Gilboa/ about 4hrs from Lake Mich./ 6-7 from Huron / 8-10 from the Straights.
My location would tell the story.

I dive whenever I can get away and that is a fact!
But then again am a cave diver as well so I have forgone the ice diving cert for limestone over my head!
These accidents are unfortunate but health related incidents are going to happen.
Unfortunate for all so sorry for the families.
On another thread the WhiteStar incident was a public safety diver I believe seeking more training to increase his service.
Be safe all and have fun on the Mack trip.
