just cuz its salt water doenst mean theres no germs or algea type thing in the water that could eat away at your gear..

Yeah, I just need a darn mudhole...As long as there is a few feet of vis so I can see my buddy, that's all I care about.

Mirror Lake was ideal for that .. platform and all. If only Lake W were closer to my house. I'll have to be content with Nubble Light.

What's it going to eat away at? The primary concern with salt water is corrosion. Algae and bacteria cannot live in a dry environment, so once your gear is dry, what's it going to do?
