Hey! Quite recently i started editing my videos/pics from dives, using after effects and gopro studio. I do however have a huge problem with white balancing..
It does not matter if i do it in gopro studio or after effects the results are still the same - awful.
I figured it was because i had been using a red filter, so I started a thread here asking for you raw footage so that i could try it out on that. I got a video filmed on a gopro with Raw turned on.
Heres a screen of what that looks like, unedited; http://i.imgur.com/C2uGXdE.jpg
And here is what it looked like after it being edited by the guy that sent it, using gopro studio only, and simply by whitebalancing; http://i.imgur.com/8oLVCNK.jpg

I have tried and tried but nothing seems to work, Ive watched every guide out there about white balancing but nothing seems to work.

I have a PC and the person that sent me the files is using a mac, now i know that macs are better for video editing but is it really this bad? Should a PC not manage to white balance correctly?
Cheers, Pajjpen!

Why have you reposted this?
There is no problem balancing your sample jpg; I just did it on a PC with Irfanview using the one-click "Adjust Colors."

Because it affects both pictures and videos. Could you post your result here?

Nothing done but a single click ("Auto adjust colors" ) with Irfanview.
By the way, the one you sent that the original guy had edited is a terrible color-balancing job....much too red-brown.
