What lens was used?

The difference is subtile, but I think the "top" image shows more detail and is sharper when compared to "bottom"...

I agree with Wolfgang. It is very subtle, but the photo labeled “Top” seems a bit sharper. Also a bit brighter, which I don’t know enough to know if that can be a function of the lens. All that being said, it took me a couple of minutes of going back and forth before deciding.

I agree very subtle. To me the foreground looks sharper in the “top” image. The NB looks the same to me. Could be dry eyes or just envy

Bill, Another vote for top image, as it lifts the high colour of the top and still does a good job on the rest of it.
Would the snoot have done a better job?
 
I could have snooted it but I am trying to show the corners/edges using the MFO, that is where it is supposed to help
