I'm looking for a clean, but inexpensive place to stay between disembarking the Palau Aggressor on a Sunday morning and catching my CO flight to Guam early the next morning. The West Plaza chain appears to fall within my budget. But there are four properties to pick from: Desekel, Downtown, Malakal, and By the Sea. Which one should I choose and why?

What I'm looking for is a place to catch a nap, a place with a little wi-fi (unreliable thought it may be), a place within walking distance to a couple of decent places to grab a bite to eat, and a place that is convenient for getting to the airport.

I would choose Malakal which is the closest to your disembarkment, close to Krammer's the best food, close to Sam's Tour,Necco Marine which have decent food/bars,plus other entertainment opportunities are a short walk.(KTV) None of the (5) locations are close to the airport so that should not be a consideration. Be aware that cab fees go up considerably after 10pm. Any other info feel free to PM me.

+1 for the Malakal. Easy walking distance unless you decide you have to go to the Taj. That's a long walk or a taxi. We should have Scott weigh in. He always stays there. Yoo hoo, Scott? I don't think they have wifi because he visits me at the Sea Passion lobby to use wifi (which is SLOOOOOW).

Wifi is available but it's slow as well. I believe there is a charge for using it.
