For few years until now I've been use olympus 5050,Im happy with the result also.
But now I need to improve my camera ,and I want to buy a new olym .
which type the best and what is the advantage of that type?
I'm thinking about 8080 or 7070 and I want ike housing for this new olym.

if someone already experience with 5050 and 8080/7070 ,please advice me if my previous wide and macro lense (for 5050) still can use or not for the new one (8080/7070).

Thank yu for advice

If you've used to 5050's excellent optics then there's no question wether you should buy 8080 or 7070. 8080 has far better optics. I haven't had 5050 but I'm very satisfied with my 8080. I have the oly housing and it's been fine but on the other hand I have only 5 dives with it so far. It has a strange gap in some parts of the housing when closed. I talked to a fella in Croatia and heard that he had the same gap in his housing. It was fine for the first 100 dives and then flooded in an instant. So you mite think about getting ikelite's one. Oh.. and if you are about to dive deep you mite want to buy the ikelite's version since it's practically bulletproof.

Cheers!
