Technical diving pretty much covers everything beyond the scope of a recreational diver. Before we go any further, I'd like to stress that the transition into tech diving is very gradual, don't try to force it. As a recreational diver a mistake can result in DCS or worse.. while a technical diver making a mistake will most certainly result in... well you get the idea, it's not a pleasant thing so let's not dwell on it...
Technical diving includes but is not limited to: Advanced Nitrox use, Extended Range diving, Trimix, and custom Mix diving, closed circuit rebreathers, overhead environments like caverns and caves etc.
Take your time, patience is a virtue, but in diving it keeps you alive!
