Mk25/S550

Outstanding breather, reliable, easy to service and a good warranty.

I would recomend the Atomic. If i could trade my mk25/S600 for one I would. There is a two year required service interval for the warranty (though you will want to get it serviced at least once a year) and it comes in an environmentally sealed version. Oh yeah and its an Atomic so it breaths great.

The Brut doesn't belong in this comparrison. Even though it performs fantastic in most of the recreational diving ranges, it's an unbalanced regulator that really won't compare to any of the other regs it's up against here.

I personally chose the GS2000.

Where you are in FL Scuba Pro Would be a good choice..... they are widely serviced and overall a really good reg.
where I am with colder water they are a bit more finicky...... Thats why I use Poseidon Xstreams.
