I'm looking for some advice on a singles rig I'm putting together. I currently have a Zeagle Tech 50d 1st stage (DIN) and ONE Zeagle Tech 50d second stage that I'm dedicating to this rig. These are the older Zeagle Tech 50d regs that were made by APEKS. My question is this:

Which of the following would you use as your back-up?

A- Scubapro G200

B- Scubapro D350

C- US Divers Conshelf 21

Thanks for your thoughts. --Brian

Also, if anybody has an older Zeagle (Apeks) Tech 50d you're looking to unload please let me know as that will make my decision pretty easy.

Why not just go Apeks? XTX 40 or 50 has my vote

Well, I certainly would, but I already own all of the above mentioned 2nd stages and I'm just wondering which to stick on it. I'm pretty much trying to put this rig together with stuff in my garage.

Which one is smallest?

Serious question; what's so good about a G200, what do you like about it?

The G200 is an excellent breathing reg. The D350's breathe okay too, but always seemed a little squirrely to me and are a pain to rebuild.

Not trying to come off as a twerp, but where is the DIR content here?
I see the same thread posted (by the same poster) in the cave forum.

Agreed, none of these regs are really on the "DIR approved list." Thread closed.
