Hello All!

I have a Sea & Sea MDX-Au housing that I've so far been using with a DX Macro Port 87 and Sony's A1+ FE 90mm F/2.8 G lens. For macro photos, this combination has worked wonderfully. My one complaint is that for medium range wide-angle, the 90mm lens has too narrow a field of vision.

From my old Canon days, I still have a Canon 60mm F2.8 Macro lens, as well as a Sigma MC-11 EF-to-E mount adapter from when I was transitioning over to Sony a few years back.

I was thinking of using the MC-11+Canon 60mm macro lens with the A1 - it would still do very nicely for macro photography, and give me a better field-of-view for sort-of semi-wide angle. While the adapted lens' AF isn't as fast as on a Canon body, it still feels quite snappy and seems to focus accurately on the A1 body.

However, when I put the combo in the MDX-Au + DX 87 housing, I'm getting a good amount of vignetting, as the MC-11+60mm is shorter than the Sony 90mm lens. Combined, the MC-11+60mm is about 100mm long, while the Sony 90mm lens is about 128mm long, getting it much closer to the port glass.

So, my question is which combination of DX macro port + extension ring would work for the MC-11+60mm lens combo's 100mm?

If someone owns the DX Macro Port 50 and/or the newer 60 version would you mind letting me know the mount-to-glass length? I can then figure out which extension ring would get me to the right overall length.

Thanks!
