Which is the preferred orifice on Zeagle second stages; plastic or metal?

I have one of each. I assume one is a later model which replaced the other.

Either seat work. The standard blue plastic is supposed to prolong seat life.
Thank you (gasp :)) Capt.Gene. I know either seat works, as they are both working. Am I correct in assuming that the "standard blue plastic [orifice] supposed to prolong seat life" is the later (preferred) orifice? Cut to the chase; do you sell both of them? Thanks,Dave

Yes I can sell you either part. I don't remember the costs exactly but the SS is a bit expensive.
With the softer seats that are used now, the blue plastic orifices work just fine and allow the seat to be reused for a 2nd service cycle if you need to.
If changing the orifice change the seat during service also.
