Which is better? Rechargeable or disposable batteries for digital camera?

Rechargeables, hands down! The cycle time (time for the flash to build up power) is more constant with the rechargeables. You never really don't how much power you really have left in a disposable, and you don't what to find out in the middle of that once in a lifetime dive!
