Which fins are you kickin’ with and what’s on the horizon?

Which fins are you currently using? SP JET FINS
Pros: Great manuverability, great price
Cons: takes a a couple of dives for your muscles to get used to them
Comments: Best fin I've tried so far.

Which fins are you thinking about or will purchase in the near future if any? considering that he jets last like 15yrs...none.

Pros: Great maneuverability and power. Flutter, frog and back kick.
Cons: They don't make them anymore

Which fins are you thinking about or will purchase in the near future if any? I've had these 15 years and they still work like the day I purchased them back in 1989. No new fins for me until these no longer work.

I just dive with Rockboots until I replace my DS.

Although, one foot is pretty Flintstone-esque at the moment.

Oceanic Vectors (with spring straps)

kick well with little ankle fatigue. great stiffness and manuverablilty.

Next pair...hhmm ask me again in several years or when I start diving dry whichever comes first.

Pros: Lightweight, powerful, great for various types of kicks, low price, very comfortable.

Cons: None.

Pros: the price, I traded mine for a 6 pack of beer.

Mares Plana Avanti Quatro's w/spring straps.

Pro's - Good with many kicks, good power

Con's - Can tire someone with poor leg strength.

I like 'em.

Advice - Get them but dump the over complicated fin straps and get springs.

Pro's - same as Kestrell said......

Con's - Don't really like the fin straps. They are a little long doing beach entries.

I'll probably get springs for them soon - when I can work out which ones I need!!!


If I did change I'd probably get Jetfins w. spring straps.
