yes sure, you can also buy 5 small cars instead of one nice one. SF is 100 % body mesured. my Instructor (tom Steiner) runs 15000 dives with the same one, just changed the zipper a couple of times. but if it come to caves the kevlar one is lit
but sure you can have a couple of others for that pierce. than buy a white drysuite. you can have alsmost 10 for that priece
Seaskin runs about $1000 USD for a fully custom, made to measure, dry suit with nearly every "upgraded" option. These are made for your average diver under normal conditions. I'm no expert, but 99% of divers don't need a suit that cost $5k+ that may last a few more dives than the $1k version. SF has a fantastic suit and the material is nice, but functionally they are equivalent and have a long life as well.

Even if I needed a 5k suit I could never bring myself to buy one.

Sorry I know it is late but I am looking information about SFTech and I found this information 15000 dives with the same drysuit and just changed the zipper. Well, how many dives a day? Supposing 1 each day without rest 41 years of service. If 2 dives a days (shorter dives of course, not challenging) 20 years without rest.

If your instructor makes 3 h/dive, 5000 dives: 13 years diving every day. Great score for a dry suit.

To each their own. I rather dive dry for all of these dives than be wet, mis dives and buy another suit again. I dive the SF-Tech and I love it to death. My third suit (Santi and Mares gone before it) and I won't buy any other brand. Don't need to buy another suit anyway because I think this one is gonna last the rest of my diving career.

Otter, O-three, SFTec.

Seaskin is cheap for a reason but seems to be weirdly popular here.

Santi suits look cool but customer service is poor.

Edit: zombie thread :crying:
