Yet another "which computer" thread, although I should hopefully be able to narrow down the range of suggestions!
I'm currently rec diving with a single 12. I'm using a friend's Suunto Vyper. At first I wanted to buy a watch-style computer (Suunto DSeries, Stinger, etc). I'm a firm believer in the "buy your second set of gear first" theory - think of what you'll want from the gear in the future.
At the moment I'm looking at the Mares Nemo Wide. While I don't currently have any interest in Trimix or Rebreather diving, I can see myself taking a TecRec class or two in the next year or so; I would like the computer to cater for multiple gases for accelerated decompression using EAN. I have no interest in Air Integration.
My budget is somewhat limited. I do not want to spend any more than 350-400 euro on a computer. With this in mind, the computer I have set my sights on is the Mares Nemo Wide. It offers all of the features I'm looking for, and its cheaper than some of the Suunto models with less features.
All thoughts welcome - which computer should I go for ?
