I need product advice on cameras, housings, and strobes. I am looking for opinions. In 1998 I purchased an Aquashot 3e, Endeavor 10, and Ikelite Strobe. I was shocked at the high quality I got from such an inexpensive camera rig. Now days, I am shopping for a camera arrangement in the $250-$800 dollar range. I take photos for personal pleasure only. I do recreational diving. I dive South Carolina shipwrecks, the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Keys and beyond. The "brands" that are getting my attention are: Cannon, Nikonos, Sealife, Sea & Sea, Ikelite. Other that that I am totally lost. Frankly I am perfectly Ok with film cameras, so I dont feel a compulsion to go digital. (I use digital on land). My best underwater photos get blow up, framed, and put on display.
