I too wanted to gain more information about tech diving and tried to find books about it not so easy in Singapore, but I enjoyed the Cave divers as it covers a lot of history and is easy and fun to read.

But then at some point it makes sense to take the plunge and do the course, I learnt things that weren't in the books and actual diving is very different from reading about it.
