Dive Rite:

SS backplate 270SGD
Standard harness 80SGD/deluxe harness 117SGD
Trek Wing 560SGD
Weight pocket 16lbs 160SGD/32lbs 200SGD

Nice setup, except for the wing. I wouldn't recommend the Trek Wing unless you're planning to dive small, short cylinders. The reason is due to the shape of the wing, which is fairly short in length and reasonably wide. Also, as I and others have already stated, a "donut" shaped wing works better for singles. I've dived with several D.R. wings, and this is the one I liked the least, primarily due to it's shape. It will work OK ... but for the money (IMO) there are better choices out there.

So basically the Dive Rite stuff seems a bit cheaper but I´m not sure how does it work with tank attachment for example? Do you usally have to get e speperate tank mounting kit for singles for example? If that is the case I guess the costs for that would add to that as well.
Yes, the one thing that's missing from your D.R. configuration is a single-tank adapter. D.R.'s adapter is made out of Delrin (or some similar "plastic" material). I own one, and have over 300 dives on it, and it works quite well. However, it does put your cylinder out away from the backplate about 3/4" or so. Cost in the U.S. for a D.R. STA is about $90.

Glitch:
Do you reckon it would be possible to fit a Halcyon Wing on a Dive Rite backplate? Do these things conform to a standard? I really like tha option of being able to replace the bladder on the halcyon wing even though it is unlikely that I would have to it´s a nice feature.
Depends on the backplate. Some D.R. backplates do not have tank band slots. So although you will be able to use the Halcyon wing, you will still need the STA to hold the tank bands. If you want the advantages of the built-in STA that comes with the Halcyon wing, make sure you purchase a backplate that has slots for the tank bands.

Goju: "I am curious about this comment as I have a Zeagle BP and have compared it to my buddies's. One is a Dacor and another is a Diverite. It also seemed similar to an OMS BP.
I am A new diver and really am interested in the BP systems and their differences.
For instance i got the delux harness and already would like to switch to a simpler one piece system.
Please let me know the Difference between Zeagle and Other plates. Thank you.
Dive on! "

As far as I know, the Ranger BP is almost identical to the rest, except that it has an additional 8 holds drilled on the sides to accomodate the Zeagle series of wings. You could drill the holes on the other bp if u so desired to use a Zeagle wing. Zeagle Bp also available in Titanium.
