where would you dive

if you were going to be in KL for 2, 2.5 weeks in end of december/beginning of january? need to spend about 1 week with family, so i guess 7-10 days of diving.

sipadan?
phuket?

any other viable suggestions?

I would like to know too as I go back there once or twice a year around mid and end.

As I know, Dec/Jan, the East Coast where most of the good diving can be found is not suitable. You would have to go to the west coast.....Langkawi is a good option...not too far from Penang and is up North...

If anyone has any ideas, let me know too!

Next diving trips these few months are Palermo Italy, Malta, Dubai & Sharm during April/May.... July will be Malaysia...hope to go to Sipidan...or heck, any resort there. Aug will be Cyprus.
