Where to stay and who to dive with in Tulamben and Padang Bai?

The Tulamben bungalows are right in front of the SS Liberty wreck.

Mimpi Tulamben was closed last year for renovation as the bungalows were terribly outdated, I think they reopened this year in august or so. They are not at all located in front of the wreck, in fact it's the opposite as it's the furthest hotel east in Tulamben bay, away from the wreck.
The hotels which are right on the wreck, west of Tulamben are Madha Puri and Ocean view, LDR a bit above on the road then you have, going eastwards Tauch Terminal, Paradise, Matahari only then Mimpi which is almost in front of Drop off (actually the small dive site named "river").

How do you know, you never stayed at Puri Rai? We find Puri Rai is a nice place to stay, much more than the awkwardly designed Colonial for instance : lovely grounds behind the resort 3 swimming pools around which the rooms with terrace are located, we also find that Candi Dasa is certainly not worth the bother waiting for the driver/driving an hour per day.

Because in Sea Breeze you don't have to hear the ferry horns.

Hardly in Puri Rai either, the rooms are well behind not in the front like Colonial/Ok divers hotel... see : you never stayed at Puri Rai.
