No need for an advanced certification for the manta dive. It's a night dive, but it's guided and about as easy as it gets most of the time. My guess is that most, if not all, dive operators will happily take their fresh out of open water class students that didn't struggle out on that dive straight after class. You should be a comfortable diver before tackling it though.
