Where to get tanks Hydro 'd on the Islands

    Re: Hilo Fire - AFAIK they are the only active hydro facility on the Big Island.

    Got a couple of tanks ready to go... sigh.

    I just had two done at Oahu Fire Protection Services.

    8am - 4:30pm

    It cost $20 per tank for both Hydro and VIP. I dropped them off on a Monday and received a call on Friday of the same week they were ready.

    Kinda related, I just returned from Oahu Fire Protection services to get 9 tanks hydro'd and found out they will also tumble tanks for $18.50 (they are doing 2 of mine atm) Unfortunately no O2 cleaning :wink:

    Useful information! I wonder if they'll do storage bottles too ... I have 4 444s that are just now out of hydro. Gonna be a pain in the butt to get those things into the back of the 4Runner...

    Sandwich Island also now does hydros on the Big Island. Just got their permit in the last couple of weeks.
