Good advice on where good diving is. But I don't think the quality of IDC training is contingent on how good the diving is. Most of the time is in the classroom. You're learning how to use PADI tools on how to teach. There is minimal time in the water on class control, which isn't on the best walls loaded with fish.
For the record, I did mine on Boracay in 99 with George Wegmann.

True. I don't really care about the underwater life where I do my IDC since I plan on diving around before and after anyway. I want a good vibe topside and comfortable surroundings and fun people to hang out with. PG still the consensus?

thanks Baby D. I hooked up with him on FB. Long time I never heard from him. Sydney? Kind of cold for a Pinoy but George grew up in Switzerland for a while if I'm not mistaken.
