Where to dive in october/november?!?!

Hiya,

I'm looking to go away with my other half to finally do our Open Water course fairly cheaply in europe as we're off to the Philippines next March.

Does anyone have any advice/suggestions as to the best places to learn to dive in the Med, eg Canaries, Balearics, Spain, Greece in October/November?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the suggestion...I'll look into it! Any places along the Costa Brava that are particularly good?

I dived Ibiza in October and got decent weather, decent visibility and sea temp 22-24c at surface so was nice. Its also cheap with budget airlines and accomodation at off-peak rates.

Greece id avoid as the diving tends to be very tightly regulated and limited.

This year however im off to Weymouth for a few days in October

It's not too much further to look at the Red Sea, you'll have better vis and more wildlife than the med.

...and orders of magnitude more expensive.
