where to by oly4000

I think I have my decision narrowed down to the Oly 4000 with a PT-010 case. Any suggestions on where I should buy?

I did a search through www.pricetool.com They have several vendors on their site. I bought my housing from Allen at Underwaterdigital.

I bought my new Oly 4000 from Ebay. A place called Cameta Camera out of New York was selling them. I didnt have any problems.
I did some research and you should be able to find the camera for less than $400. Mine came with a USA warranty. Make sure you read all the print, some may be a good price but they may have been refurbished.

I'm thinking of getting a PT-014 to go with an Oly c50 zoom. Does anyone know of any New York City-based dive shops which stock u/water housings? I think I'd rather buy in person than over the 'net, just to make sure the housing/camera controls align, check the seals, etc...

Apparently Olympus USA has finally seen that there is big business in their (previously) grey market products are and going to be offering them directly to the North American market.

I have a 3040 and bought my housing from underwater digital based on reviews from this board. I couldn't be happier, however it would've been nice to have instructions in english.

Don't forget....it's only the PT-014, -015, -016 models that will be for sale in the US.

I bought my PT-015 from japan-direct.com. Randy was very good to deal with and fast-track one for me because I needed it pre-christmas. He sent it by normal express post and it was in my hands days before stuff from the US by Fedex. Instructions came in English.

If you're buying a brand new OEM housing and it's for the camera model you should have no problem...
