My relative in VE lost the ripcord weight pocket for a Zeagle Ranger on a recent dive trip. I'd like to order one from somewhere and send it along with my sister who is going in 2 weeks. Does anybody know where I can buy one. If it matters his model is from 2003. I dont know if it is the limited or not. The local dive shops can order one, but not very quickly.

thanks

yes, LP does sell them

FrankF:
Are you talking about the yellow pouches that hold the soft weights?

Thanks, but I was referring to the actual black pocket that has the red handle on it. It comes with the BC when you first buy it. You then put the weights (or little yellow bags) inside this pocket and slip it into the slot on the BC.

ummmmm....those should be sewn to the BC....I think I'd contact Zeagle

ahhh. Just re-read your original post. If he had the pull-out weight pockets with the velcro they are not a member of the "ripcord" family. Sorry, don't know where to get those...

The pocket on the Ranger has a zipper on the top, and lacing on the bottom. The lacing is held together with the ripcord. Once the ripcord is removed the lacing falls to the side and all the weight falls out. There is no real bottom to the pocket only the lacing and ripcord. Buy a new ripcord and thread it through the lacing. Once again you've a pocket that will hold weight. iflyprops has supplied you with Zeagle's info. Call or e-mail them for a replacement ripcord.

He doesn't need a rip cord, he's got the other weight system. I think I've got a few of those kicking around the shop... Give me until about 11 central time to find it, then give me a shout. If I don't have it... I can get it in in 3 days.
