OK. I'm going to bite the bullet and get the Ike housing/strobes for my EOS 20D.

Can anyone recommend the best place to buy? I am in Houston Texas but have no particular urge to buy locally if it makes more sense to ship.

Also where is the best place to get a case for the whole package?

Thanks for any info.

Goto the Ikelite Dealer locator and click on Texas for a dealer near you

For the best customer service and most after the sale support, I would get it from Ryan at Reef Photo & Video

I have bought all my u/w camera gear from him and always will.

I will go to Reef. none of the locally listed dealers thrilled me.

One more question:

The housing and port are fixed and I will get the 125 Strobe(s). What is the most in-water friendly arm system?

Thanks again.

Get Ultralight Control Systems you can't go wrong with them...
Reef is a dealer for them.

Click on Ikelite box in the advanced search, the click submit.

While I am probably considered a "Preferred Customer" by Leisure Pro, I would NEVER buy underwater photo gear from them. If you had a problem or question while assembling your housing, they probably aren't going to know the answer. Once everything is hooked up and your strobe won't fire, will they be able to trouble shoot it over the phone? Probably not. You will have to pack it up and send it in. I will pay a little more to buy from someone who avidly uses what they sell and are knowledgable of the workings. LP is knowledgable about dive gear.....but not u/w photo gear.

This is merely MHO.....YMMV.....
