OK, so WHY black and not blue/white?

Yea,
but aren't divers supposed to BE visible to their buddy?

Good luck,

On Mike's recommendation I also ordered from these folks when I found my local Home Depot didn't stock bulk cord. Got 30 feet of 1/8" black bungee dirt cheap and shipped fast. Excellent source for bungee cord.

The question I still have is how to best secure the ends together when making a strap. Tie-wraps? SS wire? Aluminum cable crimps? Sew? Knot? What's everyone else using?

Tom

I tied a knot and then you can A) Melt the knot or B) use a dab of super glue for rope dip to make sure the knot does not come undone. This is what I do for the knots on the back-up lights.

A melted square knot seems to work just fine for me.
