Where to beach dive in Oahu?

My wife and I will be diving in Oahu the first week of May. This is our first time there and we are looking for ideas as to where to do some beach dives. Also maybe do some dives from a boat at some of the wrecks, any suggestions as to which operator to go with? Thanks.

For the dive sites you might want to check out this thread. There is a link in there to a shore diving site with lots of good information.

In May you're good to go for the North Shore too...don't miss it!

before you go shore diving.. try to stay in the 0-3 surf range.. with less than 15kt winds..

for boat diving.. i always go with.. Island Divers Hawaii..
