Where t buy aluminum oxide media (cheap.. lol)

I'm looking at tumbling media from various dealers... it just seems expensive buying by the pound..

I saw several places that sell 50 canisters, so just wondering what grit size should I be looking for

and the same goes for ceramic media what grit size

and would would you recommend for the best price?
