Well I learned back at my OW
INT or joke: 200 bar
DIN up to 300 bar

Now I come also across 220, 225, 230 bar and 330 bar.
But a few month ago I saw on a promotion for compressor that it can also do 450 bar.
Who is using that, with which equipment? If they promote that someone will use it or?
Maybe prof. diver or firefighter?

Actually it is not as amazing as it sounds as air is far away from ideal at that pressure, so you have less in the tank as it seems.

Can be used for filling cylinder banks to create an air reservoir.

care to explain that one?

As for the bar ratings, what we refer to is usually a rounded number. 200 bar is NOT really 200 bar, same with 300 bar.

450 bar? We use that in our cascade system at the fire dept, but we only use 4500 in our scba tanks.
