Unfortunately, these bulbs are VERY expensive, they are only made by one company who sells them in batches of 100 at a time. If you do a search on Light Cannon Bulbs you will see that we all share your pain.

wolfpack once bubbled...
my dive shop wants to charge me 80 dollars, can I buy them cheaper anywhere else?

LeisurePro has them for $64.95 a pop. http://www.leisurepro.com

How often do they need replacing??? I've been considering purchasing this light... and if the bulbs are $80... and it needs replacing every 10hours of burn time.. FORGET IT....

It's not just he Light Cannon that has these expensive bulbs - it's any and all HID dive lights.

The bulb lasts a long time - I want to say somewhere around 1000 hours is the estimated burn time on them.

If you take care of the bulb and treat it the way you need to - don't drop it, bump it, hit it or turn it on/off repeatedly without waiting a few minutes - it will last a long time.

What really sucks is you don't have
________YOUR OWN light!
What really sucks is if you are good enough to lend your light to someone and they give it back in disrepair:upset:

I guess it's all in the perspective!
