Scary--my shop either ships them back to the manufacturer for warranty replacement or tosses 'em if the mfg. doesn't want the parts back. We do not give them back to the customer.

OMG.......are you freakin kidding me?!! Love the disclaimer "Rebuilding regulators with used parts may be dangerous if not done by qualified tech to check conditionof parts."

And someone is gonna buy this and re use them in a reg.:shakehead:

I'm always a little suspect of a shop that refuses to return parts to the customer who is paying for them. Of course, if they had to be returned for warranty replacement, I could understand if they were at least made available to the customer for inspection.

I'm sure some of those parts are quite usable, like the small pile of piston IP adjusting shims. The real shame is that mfgrs restrictions on selling parts creates this situation where someone would pay $10 or more for such a collection on trash.

Shure you can use those shims and even the 1st stage membrane's can be used.
But for the rest, well here we do agree trash:D

only one place for that crap since it wasn't given back to customers...

TRASH CAN!

We show the parts to our customers. Our owner doesn't want to incur the liability if we give the customers their parts back and they decide to use 'em and then sue us if something happens.

If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you understand the above statement, blame a lawyer.
