so i did get in touch with my insctructor who tought me SDI solo diving, i wil sign up for sidemount. I will most probably like it ditch the pony and spend 3000$ on stuff that i don't have. Oh well ! (oh no worries i dont have the 3k also).

Other than certain gas management stuff there is no change to gear configuration for me anyway.

Nothing changes for me. I use the exact same necklaced left and long hose right whether there's a buddy or not.

I do change up hoses and routing for no-mount, which isnt exactly "sidemount" anymore but they're independent tanks so its sort of related.

cause it was not exactly the proper tread. Thank you all as always ! And if i go ask sidemount stuff in the sidemount forum saying i am solo people will start to freak out about it.

Feel free to start a thread here in the solo forum but honestly there isn't anything to change from your regular team diving sidemount set-up. At least not for me.
I may take smaller cylinders since in general I limit my solo dives to NDL.
