Hi all,
I would like to do the sailfish tour in the winter next year. Some dive tour operators in Cancun & Isla Mujeres offer such tour. The tour includes taking a speed boat in the morning, looking for birds, flocking on the sea surface, swooping down, diving into the water, jabbing into the baitballs from the top, while the sailfish stabbing into the baitball from underneath. We then jump into the water with snorkel & camera to see & record the actions, much like you do on the whaleshark tour in the summer.
If anyone here have done such a tour, would you please share your experiences here & recommend me when, where & who the right sailfish tour to take?
I may be able to persuade some of my dive buddies to come with me for the tour & diving there. Next month I actually will lead a group of 14 divers & snorkelers to dive in Isla Mujeres, to take the whaleshark tour & to dive in cenote.
