When and where at Catalina?

But come to think of it, I did once see a number of leopard sharks basking in the shallows of Cat Harbor itself...interesting behavior.

My oldest sons b-day is the 4th of July he'll be 7!
Next summer I'll take the family to Catalina, Two Harbors
for the weekend.
Probably will be hectic but the look on my son's faces would be priceless too see them swiming with sharks.
Would also like to dive Two Harbors. Any suggestions?
Boat dive or is beach access any good? What's the dive shop in 2H?

You might want to check www.scico.com for information on Two Harbors. The dive boat in Two Harbors is the Garibaldi. I think it is possible to shore dive there near the campground area, but I would go on the boat because there are much better sites accessible by boat from there. It gets crazy with some of the boaters as well. Before you go, you might want to check with Wrigley about the status of the sharks. In the past, they have also had tours (including touchtanks) on weekend afternoons.
