A beanie hood, similar to this one: Henderson Microprene 2 Tropic Hood at LeisurePro
Wear it in even the warmest water to reduce heat loss from the head, and feel less tired after diving. Keep it on for surface intervals, avoiding sunburn on my bald noggin.
 
Spring straps. Hate to think of all the stress to my hip/shoulder/knee if I had to fuss w/ ordinary fin-secure mechanisms.

Last dive was 1C throughout & I'm really fond of this extra little angora vest I've started wearing over my base layer. It's thin but fuzzy and unbelievably warm.
