april through november!

actually, i'd have a tough time narrowing it, but i was able to use a shorty in july & aug, and that was nice. vis was great may & june. sept was good. oct and nov were wonderful... any particular parameters that you're most interested in?

What she said. :D (Don't hit me Marci !)

I like September best myself. The crowds are gone, the water is still warm, and so is the weather. But... there is always the threat of hurricanes here, and if one comes close to our coast it messes up the viz for a month. I see you're in Hawaii. If you're coming here just to dive, May might be a safer bet. Hurricanes aren't a threat yet, and viz can be pretty good this time of year.

Gotta go with late May or early October. The water is a little chillier, but the crowds are alot less.

October by far. The water is as warm as it's going to get but the air temp has dropped some. The crowds are gone and the fish are biting.....ya gotta have something todo when not diving.:) The biggest problem is it's hurricane season.

I have not lived in NC for over 15 years...however, I was born and raised there. When we were home visiting family in May two years ago, we were very impressed with the diving. (We didn't become divers until we left NC) So between planning future trips home, and the faint possibility of moving back, I'm getting excited about the diving! I have been diving all over the world and people just don't believe me when I tell them how good the diving is in NC.
